Recent Coverage of  KIATT Technology

Achievements:

  • KIATT was contracted, by an ISP, to install 100 new clients, onto their network. Installations were completed in fewer than 3 months.
  • KIATT was contracted, by an ISP, to install a link of 100km, between the Head Office and a towering, linking the Head Office to 9 sites, across the country.
  • KIATT was contracted to configure a Wlan between these sites, so that each site is linked to a central data base.
  • KIATT was contracted to install and configure a VPN network between 3 large private owned hospitals, whereby medical data is transferred daily between each Hospital.
  • KIATT was contacted to configure a WDS link for the St. Georges Cricket Stadium for the ticketing system.
  • KIATT was contracted is install and configure 2 wireless camera links, for the security company contracted to the Coega Harbour. These 2 links are for the 2 cameras to transfer video images from the gates to the main centre. These links are 10km from the main data centre.
  • KIATT was contracted to configure and Hotspot for Shamwari Training Centre.
  • KIATT was selected to install and maintain the Baviaans Municipality private wireless network enabling the residents to purchase pre-paid electricity.
  • KIATT was selected to upgrade the VPN wireless links between the main Port Elizabeth Private Hospitals.
  • KIATT has secured a contract with NMMU (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) to maintain computers in selected department. i.e. NMMU Business School.
  • KIATT has secured a contract with Kwikot to run network cabled in their new warehouse. We installed the cabinet and run the cables for each use.

  • KIATT was involved in a Pilot project, whereby CSIR require a device so that 40 students were able to access the internet, via a tablet, to perform online testing. We were able to assist the client and currently the supplier of the pre-configured devices.
  • KIATT has recently secured a contract with DF Malherbe High School to maintain 100 Computers, Servers and Printers.
